Get Ready for Fall with Sound Energy

- 10:00 am - September 13th, 2024

The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and the kids are finally back in school. It is officially fall! While temperatures tend to remain fairly mild around the time of the year, they can change on a dime and leave you scraping ice from your windshield in the morning. Don’t fall for autumn’s tricks; get your home prepped and ready for the cold weather so you can have a warm and comfortable season!

Your friends at Sound Energy are working hard to prepare our drivers and technicians for the cold weather ahead, but we also want to remind you of steps you can take to prepare for the heating season.

3 Tips to Prepare You for Fall!

  1. Schedule a tune-up: If you did not schedule your tune-up with us in the spring or summer, it is vitally important that you schedule it now before the heating season begins. Over the busy winter, your equipment can collect soot and dirt. A tune-up will clean, test, and examine important parts of your heating equipment to increase efficiency.

  2. Seal doors and windows: Early fall is a great time to check around your doors and windows for gaps and drafts. Drafty homes waste huge amounts of energy and raise your energy costs for no reason! If you don’t want to pay to heat the whole neighborhood this winter, make sure you take the time to seal your doors and windows.

  3. Schedule a heating oil delivery: Remembering to replenish your heating oil supply is essential! Having your tank full at the beginning of fall will guarantee that your house is ready for any changes in weather—and these days, you never know when that may happen! Enroll in our automatic delivery service and leave the scheduling to us.

At Sound Energy, we know how difficult a Connecticut winter can be, but taking the time to prepare for it now can make a world of difference. Contact us and schedule your heating service before the leaves fall off the trees!
