Just a few gentle reminders from Sound Energy regarding your fuel deliveries and service calls and/or installations this fall:

Heating Oil Deliveries
Please clear the path to your oil fill pipe of leaves and debris so that our delivery drivers will be able to deliver your fuel quickly, easily and safely. Also clear the area of any trash cans, lawn furniture, bicycles or toys.

Service Calls and/or Installations
Make sure that all comfort equipment – both indoors and outdoors – is easily accessible to our technicians when they perform maintenance or installations. Please clear paths to outdoor units. Leaves, vegetation, and debris can block access to your central air conditioner, heat pump, fuel tank, or flue pipe during the fall.

In addition, please do not block access to basements, attics, crawl spaces, or any other indoor areas containing comfort equipment, and make sure that the equipment is not obstructed by clutter or furniture. (You may love your exercise bike, but please don’t let it get in the way of your heating system.) We suggest that you keep anything that can burn, such as furniture, at least three feet away from heating equipment.

Plus three more reminders …

  1. Think ahead to the winter and remember to keep your oil fill pipe area clear of snow and ice. In addition, please clear your driveways and walkways so that our technicians can gain access to your home as safely as possible.
  2. Install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors on every level of your home and test them monthly.
  3. Never use your oven to heat your home.

At Sound Energy, we’re always happy to serve you, but even happier, with your help, to serve you safely and efficiently! Thank you in advance, and if there is anything we can do to help you, please contact us.
